Chris Petri

Chris is an emerging watercolor artist, author, and teacher from Fair Lawn, NJ. He has studied under world famous American watercolor artist Charles Reid. Chris' work has been described as “dynamic, bold and masterful”.

Chris is devoted to a traditional style in the watercolor medium. He enjoys painting a diverse range of subject matter including landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, still life, flowers as well as figures and animals. Watercolors are especially important to Chris. “I have always felt a strong connection to watercolors with it's flowing spontaneous properties .... it's very exciting! There is risk and chance at play while painting watercolors and if handled with key knowledge it's a lot of fun and thrilling.”
